At this point I wish I could add music to this little into to said blog post. I would definitely be playing Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer. You know the part I am talking about, “ooooooooh we’re half way there, oooooOOOOOoooooo LIVIN’ ON A PRAYER.”
It’s just the way my week has been going and I think it could use a little bit more music! BUT, it’s Wednesday people… we’re half way there. Now please switch your playlist over to Judy Garlands beautiful rendition of Over the Rainbow.
If you haven’t guessed, I have finished the rainbow socks!!!!! I finished them and wove in the ends while Paul and I were visiting Sara and Piotr. I felt really happy about casting those babies off and immediately cast on my next project for #OperationSockDrawer.
Since I am attempting to finished one pair of socks per month, I thought they should be themed socks. Music now to Six Pence None the Richer’s Kiss Me.
I am going for a Valentine’s Day theme with these ones, not obvious at all. Really transparent like mud…. I am really happy with the way it is knitting up. The colours aren’t pooling at all, which was really my design while dyeing it; total and complete variegation! I think these socks are going to be lovely and HIGHLY envied by all those coveting my increasingly full sock drawer!
Next Henry Mancini’s Pink Panther Theme
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I have been working on my super secret project and it is going really well. I didn’t really have a strict time line for this project, but I wanted it done in the next couple months. I think I might manage to get it done much sooner! I can’t wait until it is completed and photographed so I can show everyone. It is a design I am really excited about!!
And just for fun Ray Charles Hit the Road Jack,
I hope you have enjoyed my musical wanderings of today, and the knitting too! I am really sorry about any resulting tune wedgies resulting from this post.
